He had no other choice but to let everything be fulfilled and it’s just crazy to know that we walk among wolves and sheep clothing, and just to be very vigilant anybody can play religion so keep your eyes open and your discernment up

Did he repent, or only experience remorse? Only God knows for sure. He seemed disillusioned that Jesus was not going to overthrow the Roman Empire, but he couldn’t see that God had a purpose for that empire, harsh though it was. It was a kingdom powerful enough to birth Christianity and allow it to spread throughout the world for a few hundred years until its emperor converted to Christianity. At that point, the empire became corrupt and collapsed, sending the Western world into the Dark Ages. Meanwhile, the Eastern Church survived until 1500 A.D. It goes to show you how much better off Christians are when we DON’T have a “Christian” government.
