This is my first week reading truth so instead of memorizing I’m still familiarizing myself w the scripture. I do really like this one, it’s also a reminder of humility so that you will be able to allow yourself to learn from others who went before you and in this way make your life better.

Not only is His word nourishing… it also protects us. (Our message today was about putting on the FULL armor of God.) And the question was asked… do we just HAVE it, or are we USING it?!?! The other parts of the armor are defensive. We need to be reminded to use His word offensively.

Hope, endurance and encouragement through the Word. Thank you Father, that we have Scripture to know more of You. To learn Your heart, Your guidance, to lead us and show us Your Way and Truth. May we hide it deeply in our hearts, never take for granted the freedom and privilege to have the Bible in our hands. Increase our desire to read if often, frequently and daily to further equip us and live out the Truth, forgivenes and grace of a saving faith in our lives and in all that we do and say.
