I should be wearing this at ALL times. I love how she just asked the real questions about it’s value and purpose. How does the belt of truth set us up against the enemy? Well today being armed with the truth prepares me to identity the counterfeit pleasures and comforts. I long to satisfy the Hunger i have for meaning und unity through ibtimacy with Him. I can do that by spending Quálitas time with Jesus, then i am more like Him every moment.

When we trust all His intentions are good and all His commands are for our good, we won’t ask ‘Did God really say…?’
That same part of Yanna’s devo stood out to me also plus this that I typed out. I was encouraged that you just started this study in 2025 like I have. I’m going to start the Lent study next week but I thought this study on the Armor of God would be easier than some others to do on non consecutive days.

When we second guess God’s promises, we also second guess Him. We put not only His words but also His character on trial. To say God’s promises are unreasonable, unreliable, & untrue is also to say that He Himself is a harsh, unreasonable, unreliable, & untrue Father.
