Suffering is not punishment. Jesus lived a perfect life yet he suffered. Joseph was enslaved before being blessed and built up in knowledge, experience, life and skills. Suffering draws you closer to God. Your pain, your waiting, your misfortune is temporary. This life is temporary. Gods love is forever.
