Enoch’s faith in God was so strong he didn’t have to face death. He was just a regular person like you and I but his love for God, his faith was powerful. The Bible says even just a mustard seed of faith, genuine faith can move mountains. He was devoted follower

The verse “For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16 exists so discreetly in the Bible yet is probably one of the most quoted and popularized verses in the from scripture. It exists slipped between two biblical stories as a message of principle. It’s my first time coming across the verse and while I’m not sure where I expected it to be in the Bible, I was surprised to find it here.

Sister, I would like to share my favourite verse – Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

I hope this gives you comfort, that we are all impure and sinful but through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross and His grace, we are made pure.

I imagine Enoch was intentionally following God. He had a close friendship with Him because Enoch chose to have that friendship. It encourages me to see that the All Mighty God is not unreachable. Satan wants us believe we are not good enough for this friendship and that God is condemning us. It is the opposite! What resonated with me the most was John 3 12-13. This sat with me because why would he show you earthly things and not believe and expect to believe heavenly things. I’ve questioned a lot of earthly things due to what’s going on in the environment and around the world. Sometimes my faith waivers because it’s so much negativity and hate. I have to stay the course to believe and have spiritual discernment to know the difference

The Lord is not blind to those who walk in righteousness. There was compassion and mercy for Enoch, that he did not have to experience death, which I’m sure is not a pleasant thing. The word “walked” reminds me of the garden of Eden. How can I truly walk with the Lord in this way? Do I seek to do this?
