Abraham kept his eyes on the Lord despite hardship and the unknown. Through faith and trust in God he was able to endure with hope and courage and the Lord blessed him for that.

Abraham was obedient and trusted in what the Lord told him. I think of my own life and the things I want and the things I pray for. Sometimes when I dont see the result quickly I become impatient and then rely on myself versus relying on the Lord. I need to be more like Abraham, and trust everything to God. Trusting Gods plan for my life no matter where it takes me.

Not only was Abraham obedient, he was patient! Blindly following God not knowing exactly what was next but trusting the promise God gave given him. He waited on God, he listened. At times it gets hard when God has given you a promise & you’re in that waiting season, but continue to wait on him & know his promises are true & will come to pass.

Abraham teaches me that I can 100% trust God and put my wholehearted faith in Him. He knew much less about God than I do now and still handed over everything to him. If Abraham can do that, I certainly can.
