Gods promises are yes & Amen, that’s it. He is faithful in all his promises and it’s never “too late”, if he said it he will do it. That is something I always remind myself, it’s not my timing but His.

I think this story epitomizes while we are faithless he is still faithful. I’ve always found it fascinating how faith is credited to Sarai, but she didn’t have faith at all. She had so much doubt that she thought it was all a joke. There is no mention of her coming around to a point of having faith and believing in the promises of God, but we do see that God did indeed fulfill his promise, despite her doubt.

I know all things are possible through our Lord, Jesus Christ. I pray for a miracle like the one God granted Sarah. I am not 90 but 46 and in perimenopause. My heart longs for a second child. I know it is possible but improbable, but if it is God’s will, it will be. May we all remain faithful and remember His promises are true.

I think What really stood out to me is when God said, is there anything too hard for me to do when Sierra didn’t understand how she was going to be able to conceive a child at her age, and how God delivered his promise, even in the mist of their age and I think that is so good to remember that it doesn’t matter the timeline we have set up. It doesn’t matter any of that if God wants to do it, he is going to do it and he’s gonna do it well and he’s going to carry us through it.

In Genesis He repeats His promise to Abraham and Sarah or at least its repeated. A reminder that even when we want to give up hope or get impatient, it will be done in His timing for He doesn’t forget. He’s patient and reminds us that He knows and it will be done when the time is right
