God is faithful to protect and care for his people in the midst of an evil world. I’ve been feeling such a heavy heart and spirit this weekend and I’m also feeling financially strained beyond what our bank account can stretch. I’m trying and choosing to be faithful and have my faith in God despite my debt and how expensive living in my city is right now.

Prayers for faithfulness to provide affordable childcare for my babygirl would be appreciated. It’s terrifying and I don’t know what we’re going to be able to do longterm.

I play that God helps me and my fellow sisters here to be steadfast in faith and be obedient to only Him.. Indeed what use is it to place our faith in men when God is the only one in control.

I think reading about Moses n then backing it up with the psalms scripture stood out to me because one thing about God he’s gonna get you where you need to be regardless ! Just like in Moses situation !

I really liked Exodus 1:13 the more they were oppressed the more they multiplied and spread. It’s a great reminder of even during our suffering God is working and we can be resilient in light of oppression or obstacles. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. It may be formed and it may harm us temporarily but not forever, they can hurt our physical body but not our soul! If God is our everything, man can do nothing.

I am really reflecting on faith. It’s so easy to think upon these stories and how the women had hope that their child would be saved. There midwives had faith to say they could not get to the babies fast enough to their superiors therefore not being able to fulfill what they were ordered to do. Moses’s wife had faith to send her baby away in a basket down a river… That’s so wild I don’t know if I could do it no would probably try to hide my baby. Faith is a belief in something you hope for without knowing the outcome. But in this case faith is the opportunity to trust God’s love for us is mightier than our own understanding. He was gracious and kept Moses alive and therefore freed an entire people group because of his life this is an example of faith like a mustard seed. This reality and story puts my faith to shame. My faith is so small and self focused and I would love to be transformed to have a great great faith.
