I am sure one of these Jews thought it was silly to put the blood on their house posts but they still followed God’s commands. He knows better than we do and He truly has all power over all things. These few days looking at all the natural disasters that occured like typhoon in Hong Kong and sinkhole in Bangkok. I marvel at the glory of God. It is easy to forget how powerful and mighty and truly deadly God is when we live our life so peacefully and happily. It is when we see this destruction that we can truly appreciate God’s mercy and grace towards us.

On my right hand, on my third finger I wear a ring with a feather on it. It is a reminder of the promise I made to Jesus. It reminds me of Psalm 91 v4 and I know just as my husband will do his best to love, cherish and take care of me I also can trust in the Lord has both of us covered and v11 says For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways, they will lift you up in their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone’.

As a little side note, when I was little and asked what I would like to be when I grow up, I used to write down an angel! It’s weird how I have never ever written anything else in that box!
