It’s always hard for me to read that God allowed people to die and suffer the consequence of eternal death. I can’t imagine how hard it is for Him to know his children who he created and loved turned so evil and against what he designed us for. This story reminds me to stay the path God has created. Be bold in my faith and trust His perfect plan for my life. God is always faithful, no matter the hardship, He will make a way where there seems to be no way.

Today’s reading shows proof that God will lend you a hand when you need it. It taught me that I need to literally have Faith and by Faith alone I will be able to walk through whatever waters I need to.

As Christian’s we aren’t entitled or promised an easy life but we have Gods promises to cling to, knowing His faithfulness and goodness. Knowing our identity in Him that we are honored, loved, redeemed and precious. God will take care of us , He is always with us, protecting us. And that’s what we cling to when we walk through fire or high waters that’s He’s in the room with us.

I’ve been going through a tough season, husbands job change, moving, my own job loss, now expecting another baby. Financially taken a lot of loss. And more recently some exciting things on the horizon, but sudden obstacles in those. I have felt so down and overburdened this week and today’s reading was a reminder that He has gone before me in all of this, he has a plan – he loves me.

The Lord goes before us and is behind us, protecting us and fighting our battles. When He calls us to something or to go somewhere, He will make a way even if that way seems impossible or full of obstacles. Today’s reading gives us faith to trust that the Lord is true to His promises, and that He is able to do far above what we can even imagine.
