I so badly want to be the believer that says they are not afraid of death. And while I believe in and love the Lord, death does scare me! I’m so afraid of all the things that are lost by death. I think a lot of this is to do with the grief we have here on earth when a loved ones is called home to the Lord. But this verse reminds me that there is so much more after death, that when we are called home, we gain a totally new life. Amen sisters! It always feels so heavy to think of death and grief, so if any of you are going to a period of loss, please allow me pray for you.
