Dear Father, Maker of heaven and earth, my help comes from you.
I do not need to strive or try so hard to defend myself because, Lord, you are my protector. I’m sorry for the way I take things into my own hands; please Lord, help me to release.
Thank you for the assurances you have given me to show that you are moving in a situation I continually cry out to you about. I have tried so hard to do things in my own strength and it always ends badly. However, when I step back, I see glimpses of your hand at work, and I know that I am only seeing part of the picture. I know that you are answering me, and I need to trust that the one who is enthroned in heaven has much better timing and understanding than I do! O Lord, help me to proclaim that you are my keeper! I can testify to the fact that unless you had delivered me from my own struggles I would have been swallowed up alive. You did not let that happen; you moved mountains. You are great!
Please forgive me. Please do not treat me as my sin deserves. Please turn to me and be gracious to me. You loved me so much that you sent your son to die for me. Hallelujah, what a Saviour! Jesus, thank you thank you.
Thank you for this reminder that because you handled my biggest problem, you can handle any one of my problems. So Lord, you can handle this situation, and so I again commit it to you. You know it fully. Help me to wait upon you, and Father, I humbly ask that you would continue to show me small glimpses of the bigger work that you are doing. Lord God, help me to be faithful to you.
