I became a subscriber a little over a year ago, and I highly recommend it! It’s made me want to “keep up” more, even when I don’t get to my reading until later in the day or even have to use the weekend to catch up. I really have a hard time getting moving in the mornings in recent years, but the important thing is not so much when we meet with Jesus, but that we do! I’m convinced that all those preachers who tell us we have to start our day off with a quiet time are morning people. And I learned a few years back that for the Hebrews, the day begins in the evening. The sabbath begins at sundown. “The evening and the morning, they were the first day,” and so on in Genesis 1. Let’s throw off the guilt and look forward to our time with our savior. Notice I am posting this on a Sunday morning, but I hope you will see it, beloved sister.

I agree and I think that is most likely the intent, but I begged my husband multiple times to join me in a study. He always chose one from the archives instead. Not sure he has ever completed one either. I don’t ask. ☺

I have tried to get my husband to do the studies with me, at least on his days off. He will read a couple and then fall off. I used to always tell him HE could get the men commenting and sharing(ha!)- although, yes, like Wendy said there were a couple of men that would comment regularly for a few studies. Then the spam came! I used to remark…my She’s have THIS many comments…and then HRT—NONE! The devotionals are always good!
I think it would be ideal for a couple to do together!!
