Lord soften my heart to the mistake I made at work, help me to be patient and calm as I wait for my supervisor to return to have our conversation about the mistake. Lord be with our unborn baby, keep them healthy and happy in the womb and lord I ask for you to be with me through labor and delivery. Please give me the strength and courage to do hard things. Be with our kids and our families. Bless us with good health and happiness. Help them to learn to play together and be compassionate towards one another. Help my husband and I always make time for each other and bless his work and coworkers- that the my would be successful and that that success would also bless our family. We pray for all of our families, grandparents aunts and uncles and that they would be healthy. It is amazing the work that you can do, and we will look to you for our guiding light. In your holy name we pray, Amen.

I listen as I go. Each day I do the reading and make my own notes then I do the devotional and read a few comments (since I am an early riser and reader), and then I listen to the part of the podcast that talks about that day’s reading. It isn’t perfect since they don’t always go day by day or spend an equal amount of time on each day but I make a note in my study book of where I left off and pick back up the next day.
