She Reads Truth is a worldwide community of women who read God\u2019s Word together every day. Founded in 2012, She Reads Truth invites women of all ages to engage Scripture through curated \u201cDaily Reading Plans, as well as online conversation led by a vibrant community of contributing writers. This community of women in the Word of God every day represents a long list of cities and countries, a variety of backgrounds and traditions, and countless real-life stories. But there is a commonality that binds us: we believe God\u2019s Word is Truth. So we read. Every day we read a new passage together\u2014working our way through books of the Bible, topics that matter, and seasons of the Church calendar. We engage with God’s Word and with each other. We believe in God (Genesis 1:1). We believe we are sinners in need of a Savior (Romans 3:23). We believe Jesus Christ came to save His people from their sins (Matthew 1:21, 1 John 4:9-10), fully and forever accomplishing that work on the cross (1 Peter 2:24).<\/p>\n"},{"text":"
The Old Testament records the creation of the world, the fall of man, the establishment of God\u2019s covenant with Israel, and the promise and anticipation of a Savior (Genesis 2:4). The New Testament tells the true story of the life, death, and resurrection of that Savior, Jesus Christ, the birth of the Church, and the promise of Christ\u2019s return (Matthew 1:1).<\/p>\n"},{"text":"
You can read the Bible right where you are, just as you are. It is the only living and active book in the world (Hebrews 4:12), and we can trust the Holy Spirit to illuminate the words He has already inspired (2 Timothy 3:16). We believe in God, the Father Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth, And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He rose again from the dead. He ascended into Heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, from whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
