After Moses\u2019s death, Joshua was charged with leading God\u2019s people into the land God promised to them. And as they traveled, they carried a very tangible reminder of God\u2019s presence with them: the ark of the covenant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those who went forward with Joshua walked with the presence of God guiding and protecting them. And because of Jesus\u2019s resurrection, we now can live in the reality of what Jesus told His own disciples, \u201cI am in my Father, you are in me, and I am in you\u201d (Jn 14:20). The promise of life in God\u2019s eternal presence is extended to all those who follow and obey Jesus.
