Hallel psalms, coming from the Hebrew word meaning \u201cto praise,\u201d are individual psalms or groups of psalms traditionally used during celebratory seasons of the Jewish calendar. While there are many Hallel psalms, Psalms 113\u2013118 are known specifically as the \u201cEgyptian Hallel\u201d (a reference to Ps 114:1) and were recited, sung, or prayed in Jewish homes to commemorate the Passover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Each Sunday during this plan, we will read a different Hallel psalm and memorize one of its verses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
